This is the part where I tell you who I am. I'm an actor/comedian living in Atlanta and a Proud member of SAG/AFTRA , AEA. I am also a lifetime member of The Ensemble Studio Theatre in New York. I love Theatre/TV/film and all things acting ever since I first saw Sidney Poitier in "A Raisin in the Sun". My dream as an actor is to create a body of work that will be seen for years to come and that will touch other people the way this movie touched me. I was born in Brooklyn NY. My parents are from Georgetown Guyana, so I have a Great love for all things Caribbean. I am a comedian and I love to make people laugh. At this stage of life most people call the things I say funny, I call it observations of a life fully lived.
My journey has also been as a New York City High school teacher/Dean for A LOT of years. I believe that my experiences as an English as a Second Language teacher has given me a deep appreciation for cultures all over the world. My passion for exploration of different cultures, different souls and different lives is the fuel that drives me in the world of acting. I want to share those stories.
I have been honored to have studied with some of the finest artist/teachers in the business. My studies have taken me from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts to the City University of New York where I earned a BFA in acting/theatre to the William Esper Studio where I studied with Bill Esper. I currently take classes and coaching from New York acting coach Rob McCaskill.
I have been blessed to work with the likes of Alfre Woodward , Kevin Bacon, Micheal Weatherly , Keke Palmer and a host of other wonderful artists. The characters I've created range from a domino playing Jamaican on the Marvel/Netflix series LUKE CAGE to a Minister/landowner in the off-broadway production " Travisville" at The Ensemble Studio Theatre. I look forward to continually growing and learning.
Thanks for stopping by....
